GOVERNOR RAUCKIS A JOKE?

In his last few minutes in office, Governor Adomas Rauckis approved a bill stating that the six most “disliked Senators” could be voted off in a game of Russian roulette. There has been talk of whether a shot-gun or a six shot revolver would be used. Should it matter what type of gun is used? Absolutely not. This not only shows how ridiculous our State executive and legislative branch have become, but it also displays the lack of control that Governor Rauckis has. When presented with the notion that his gubernatorial power has been matched and challenged several times by the senate, he responded with “It was only one Senator.” Is it any better that only one Senator has single handedly stripped Governor Rauckis of his power? When Governor Rauckis entered his term, he gave Boys State hope. Little did we know, Governor Rauckis wasn’t ready for the responsibilities as Governor.
