Director of state police Martin Taylor is working to replace all state cruisers. Current Boys State cruisers date chiefly back to the mid nineties. Taylor saw the problem and took initiative to remedy it as one of his first actions. “This is something I have to do,” Taylor said. “These vehicles are not safe on the roadways.” The vehicle being shown the most consideration is the Chevy Impala. The Impala is the most widely used police cruiser currently.
