Pike "Under The Table" Deal Leads To Loss

Adams City election chair Ross Pike began his campaign by shooting his city in the foot. He attempted to use a unifying strategy to assure another city that their candidate would receive every single vote from Adams City. It has been reported that he did not notify his entire city about the decision. Naturally, some citizens decided to vote for who they wanted to, not for who Ross told them to.

The scandal was revealed when Ross announced the pledging of all Adams City votes to one candidate, and his vice-chair moved against him to reveal the pledging of six votes for another candidate. Eventually, the situation was smoothed out, and Ross offered the deepest apologies for himself and his vice-chair.

Ross Pike was nominated by Adams City for the Nationals nomination for governor. In his first speech, he took his position as the sixth speaker to attack the information offered by the preceding speakers, and even abuse the images of the two men yet to speak. His continuous abuse and endless slights obviously entertained the tired audience, but could never end up helping his cause. He stayed in the race until the end, but ended up in third place, which he only received due to another candidate exiting the race. He will be known for a while for charisma and biting humor, but will most likely be remembered as a politician who could have seen more success by staying positive.
