Senator Retraces Path to Victory

While the laurels were still being thrown, confetti still raining on him, Senator elect Garrett Rogers of McClelland County looked back thoughtfully on his path to victory. “The reason I got elected is because my goal is to lower taxes, which will in turn put money in the pockets of my constituents.” Rogers’ hope is that by implementing reasonable environmental policies and balancing the budget that he can put a sizable dent in both unemployment and homelessness. “If I were to trace my trajectory,” Rogers said, “I would say that the point when I won over my voters was when they realized I could relieve their taxes without damaging our financial equilibrium.”
