Letter from Girl’s State Governor 2007

Dear Boys State 2008,
My name is Arielle Pietron and I bring Greetings form American Legion Auxiliary Girl’s State. Last year I had the Honor of being elected Girl’s State Governor and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Through this next week you will push yourself to the next level and will be amazed at the results. It is your job to run this simulated government for the week so take the opportunity to try and fix what has been bugging you about the government of today.
Boys state is not all work. I here you guys get recreation time each day to unwind and relax. I know that you will not be able to visit Girl’s State this year; however the friends you will gain this week will stay with you forever. Who knows, maybe you will end up rooming with one of them when you go to college!
Make the best of your time and get involved. The experience is only as good as you make it. So do not waste any time, get to work. Good luck and have a wonderful camp experience!
Sincerely,
Arielle Pietron
American Legion Auxiliary Girl’s State Governor 2007
