Monroe Cities’ Progress

The Monroe city council has several ordinances that positively affect Monroe city, and the entire state. As a result of the work of Luke Panning, Monroe’s water treatment facility will be upgraded substantially. It will facilitate the needs of every city in Boy’s State, with the exception of Van Buren city, which has its own water treatment plant. Brutt Shipping Company, one of Monroe cities major employers, almost decided to relocate out of Monroe city because of its battle with the EPA. But because of the work of Mayor William Dawson, and Governor Browning, the Brutt Shipping Company will stay in Monroe. All other city councils should look up to the Monroe city council when they are faced with a problem that jeopardizes their infrastructure or economy.
