Van Buren’s New Blight

The retreat marks the resignation of the colors for the day; it is a time for silence and remembrance, a time to honor and to respect. It seems that the notorious city of Van Buren needs to mar everything in its sight, including this sacred ceremony. As the American Flag crawled down the flag pole, allegedly one could see the citizens of Van Buren smirking and bantering, as well as some other less than gentlemanly conduct. After the ritual reached its terminus, the counselors unleashed their fury upon the city of Van Buren and tension rose as the citizens thought they were being singled out yet again. They now call for a change, a cry for fair treatment. Is it true that the people of Van Buren were the only ones disrupting the process, or is there a conspiracy in the works between the counselors of Boys State to wreak havoc upon them?
