Robert Tuson (FED) and Ross Pike (NAT) are the two candidates for Mayor in Adams City, a highly sought after position. The campaign has just started but it may just as soon be end according to some sources. Mr. Pike’s stance on the issues of Marijuana use, public transport, and building projects are just too similar to Mr. Tuson’s in the opinion of many. The lack in difference of stances is making the physical campaign far more important. The easy going nature of Mr. Tuson is making him the favored candidate. His open manner and open door policy of his room which allows anyone to come in and talk to him has made an impact on voters. But there are many who support the quiet and calm Mr. Pike. Many of his supporters hope that Mr. Pike will go higher then mayor as a statement given by his election committee hints, “Rumors that are indicating the ending of his mayoral campaign do reveal his hopes for the gubernatorial position.” So is Mr. Pike playing easy to get because he has greater hopes and dreams or is this just a way to get out of the race with the least embarrassment when defeat comes? We will see.
