ADAMS “PARTY TOWN”??

A recent study, by the Boys State Drug and Alcohol Center, revealed that Adams City has the highest recorded use of drugs & alcohol among 17-26 year olds. This comes on the heels of a recent petition drive, led by Boys State University Students, to legalize marijuana for recreational use. A rally was held and over 7,000 supporters of the legalization marched to city hall. One opponent was quoted as saying, “We need to focus on serious issues affecting this city not the recreational use of illegal drugs. This sounds like a bunch of young college kids wanting to feed a habit”. This entire issue reflects a potential for serious problems in Adams as a “Party Town”.
