Starr Airport May Lose Terminals

The City of Jackson will have to make some serious improvements to the Starr International Airport. The FAA has made it clear through a letter to the city that much needed improvements are necessary to keep the airport open. The former city council made no appropriations toward any improvements counting on the state to help. Boys State has sent no funds to the city as of yet. “This airport is very important to all the state and to industry”, said a local businessman. The Department of Homeland Security has also filed complaints that the Starr airport is in need of security updates. “It is very possible for a terrorist attack in Boys State.
