Auto Industry To Deliver Hits To Local Cities?

6/17/2007

The auto companies have made several announcements that the closing of plants may be coming to Boys State. The economy in McClelland County depends heavily upon the auto industry. “The automakers have lost money in production and must make some serious changes”, said one-company spokeswomen. “We can not continue to do business and loose money”. The companies are looking for tax relief help or assistance here in Boys State. There is no doubt that the new city governments are going to have to work with these companies or face unemployment problems. “I do not know what I would do if I lost my job. My family depends on my paychecks”, says one autoworker in Washington City.
