Jefferson City Council May Legalize Marijuana

The Jefferson City Council has entertained the motion to legalize marijuana within the city limits. This has sparked serious debate on all levels of government. The City Council tabled the motion last year and will be decided by the new City Council? “If someone wants to smoke marijuana it is their own choice”, said a 27-year-old resident. If this measure passes the ordinance will undoubtedly be challenged in the courts. What will Jefferson City Council do?
