Printable Materials

If you are planning on attending Boys State this year, here are some materials that you can download and print out, or just view them for now. Some of these materials will not be useful until you actually reach Boys State, but they are available here anyways. More materials will be made available as needs dictate. Many of these documents require the free Adobe Reader software to view them.

Note: There are additional applications and printable forms that you may need in the application/forms section of the website.

  • Form for Writing Bills in the Senate/House
If you are planning to run for a state legislature position at Boys State, then we highly encourage you to write at least one bill before you come to Boys State, and bring it with you revised and ready to be debated! Having an issue that you are ready to push through the legislature can be something that you could use to get elected as well. This is the form that is required to be used when submitting a bill to the house/senate of Boys State. We also have an additional page of ideas and tips for writing a bill at Boys State.

  • Virtual map of Boys State
Boys State is a virtual 51st state, and these are downloadable versions of a "map" of the State of Boys State. There are color and black/white versions available, and there is also a JPG format file that you can edit using an image editor. These will be useful later while actually at Boys State.
