Scholarships

For many years Boys State attendees have been eligible to complete for scholarships from the Samsung Corporation. There is a $1000 state scholarship, and an additional $20,000 national scholarship available. You can download all the needed materials to apply for this scholarship below.

College Credits

The national American Legion is offering transferable college credits to this years participants through RTG & Associates Educational Services. We highly recommend that you check with your prospective college(s) to ensure that these credits will transfer over. We have found that many schools will only accept LEAD 152, and only as an elective credit (which for some programs may be completely useless). It is the students ultimate responsibility to determine if transfer credit will be accepted / awarded by an institution of higher education other than the institution awarding the credit.
